As a nationalized bank, the SBI is a government-owned organization and is not likely to ever become a private bank. SBI careers are essentially government jobs, with all the job security, benefits, and perks they entail.

#2. Be a nation builder

To a great extent, India’s financial status depends on the SBI, as it serves the needs of Indian economic development through rural development initiatives and microcredit programs.

SBI bank careers attract the best banking talent in the country, thanks to their strong employee-centric approach.

SBI’s employee onboarding initiative, called ‘Pravesh Samaroh,’ helps new employees integrate with the SBI culture and values and create a sense of belonging in the Bank.

From the first day itself, new employees are welcomed at airports and stations and given a welcome kit with all the relevant information they need to know on SBI’s service conditions, perks, benefits, and rewards.

As part of the relationship-building process, they are also welcomed into their branch office in a grand manner, assigned a ‘buddy’ colleague for guidance, and taken for informal lunch sessions with seniors for bonding.

#4. Grow as an individual

SBI bank jobs will spur your professional and personal growth, as the State Bank of India has a culture that encourages performance-based growth.

You’ll be assigned to tackle complex business problems and will build empathy as you meet new people every day and learn from their experiences.

SBI jobs are not mundane 9 to 5 jobs but will pull you into a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where you’ll be challenged every day to push your boundaries. As you discover your passions, you can chart your own career path.
