How often do you read about “Happiness Programs, Detox Yourself adverts, Lead a Stress-Free Life banners,” and many such things.
Most of the time I used to wonder if such programs could help me, until one day I found that My Art Of Living à #ArtOfGiving.
How?
Let’s take a sneak peek into our day. Can you answer these questions about yourself?
1. You are still in bed; you dismissed the alarm a long time ago, you are still searching for the mobile to get the exact time. And the clock says – You are late!
Never mind, I was able to sleep for 20 more minutes. It’s such a beautiful day!
Oh Man, I am late. Need to rush!
?
2. You are busy preparing your kid for school and your phone rings; your maid is out sick today
How about a quick sandwich or roti-roll for lunch and breakfast?
Cursing your maid and yourself for getting up late.
?
3. You are hurrying to catch a meeting at 10:00, and are driving, just then another taxi overtakes you from the wrong side.
Relax, be careful, you need to be safe for your family!
##$$&^##$%% These people should be barred from driving!
?4. In a meeting, your colleague does not agree with your views and the discussion gets heated up.
You try to close the discussion by saying - We can agree to disagree on this topic, but most importantly shouldn’t we look which view could help us in attaining what we want to achieve?
You simply walk away from the meeting stating talking is useless to you
5. You asked your spouse to pick you from the office, and he got late.
You use the time in making some phone calls or browsing shopping sites or enjoying ice cream at café
Keep looking at watch and cursing him as he is never on time
6. You met your neighbour in the elevator and she asked how your day was – you responded:
Oh it was wonderful, did some cooking, enjoyed work and even had some fun time
Don’t ask how pathetic it was!
For a’s give positive 10[+10] and for b’s put a negative 10 [-10].
What did you score?
Winston S Churchill once said - “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
That’s the essence of life, what you give is what you receive [in manifold].
Once, Sachin Tendulkar, on his world cup win called one of his biggest [poor] fans to the green room and got a picture clicked with the world cup trophy.
The way you feel depends wholly on what type of energy you give it to the world. Just analyze a day in your life, how much negative energy we vent out each day, on kids, on life, on television or housekeeping, on your boss….the list is endless. And now just imagine how bad you would feel to receive it.
This is how you can achieve it!
A calm mind and more alertness from your side
Watch your thoughts
Do not rush, if in doubt – pause and go into hibernation, and then respond!
The #ArtOfLiving is all about #ArtOfGiving, with open arms and hands just share your love and positivity, and you will be showered by much more happiness, good health, and PEACE of MIND!
