Tanu here loves keeping her home squeaky clean and she has got some tips for us as well. For the unappealing stains on our bathroom tiles, here are some mixes which you can make yourself with the ingredients available readily at your homes.

#How to clean #bathroom_tiles at home

1) Dip a damp sponge into a bowl of pure baking soda and use this to scrub down tiles, grout and other bathroom and kitchen surfaces. Rinse thoroughly or wipe well with warm water.

2) Mix equal parts distilled white vinegar and water in a bottle and spray it generously onto tiled surfaces. Allow sitting for a few minutes before scrubbing with a brush or sponge. Extra tough stains may require the combined action of baking soda and vinegar.

3) Use lemon juice. It has the exact same action when it comes to tiles – it is an effective stain remover. Like vinegar, fresh lemon juice is acidic in nature, It works best when combined with baking soda.

4)Mix hydrogen peroxide with white flour to create a thick paste. Apply this to the tiles and cover with plastic wrap. Allow working its magic overnight, before rinsing well with cold water.

Getting back to making your home Spring-ready, in no specific order, let's start with some easy spring décor ideas.

1) Floral fantasy

Nothing says spring like flowers does! A floral arrangement is one of the easiest and most beautiful ways to enliven a room. With flowers, you can bring the beauty of outdoors inside your home. To add a touch of floral fantasy in your décor use accessories with floral patterns, mix-&-match colours to create an uber-chic look. Flowers look wonderful on a centre table; to flaunt the quintessential English charm you can display a floral arrangement in a tea tray with brightly-coloured fresh flowers in a pitcher or teapot.

2) Mason jar vogue

We can’t get enough of mason jars and for good reason too! Mason jars are every DIYers obsession. There’s so much that you can do with these little glass wonders. You can colour the versatile jars with spray paint or acrylic paint and fill them with your favourite flowers. Another creative way to integrate mason jars into your spring décor is lining an old toolbox with Mason jars filled with faux flowers. Hanging Mason jar planters is also a wonderful idea that adds an old-world-charm to your spring décor.

3) Soft and neutral hues

Dim lit rooms are a ‘winter blah’! Well, winter is NO LONGER here, so say goodbye to the gloomy shades and welcome the sunshine with soft and neutral hues of ivory, cream and the oh-so-lovely white. Boast a soothing spring inspired ambience by blending-in accessories in mild blue shades.

4) Reshelf those shelves

The same old bland shelf décor is passé, today’s décor trends demand bookshelves in every home. Deck up your bookshelves with your favourite books and some crafty spring accessories like scented candles, seashells, ceramic pots, small vases with succulents and a couple of decorative boxes. Voila! Your uninspired shelf is now a work of art.

5) The wallpaper pop

Infuse creativity into your walls with patterned wallpapers for a quick and easy spring update. Wall murals and decals in geometric or floral motifs are a great way to bring a fresh vibe into your interior decor.
