Five morning routines that can make you more productive!

“Each morning we are born again, what we do today is what matters most.” - Buddha

Morning is when you are the most receptive to learning new things. Early morning activities have the power to enliven your day! These 5 morning routines can help you boost productivity,

Start with a diary and plan
A ‘to-do’ task list jotted down early in the morning will help you schedule your entire day. Prioritise. Several working women around the world attribute list-making to efficiency!

Follow a regular fitness regime
Apart from the health benefits of a regular fitness regime, it heals the mind and the spirit. Follow a routine to cleanse yourself, irrespective of whether its yoga, brisk walks, or the gym. Regular exercise releases special hormones that help eliminate stress too!

A nutritious breakfast is a must
Here are the two reasons you should never skip the first and the most important meal of the day. Breakfast delivers the much needed glucose to the brain essential for its functioning, after a fast of nine-ten hours since your last night-time supper. Second, what goes in modulates our mind and behaviour.  So, include carbohydrates, proteins and minerals in sufficient amounts.

Spend 5 minutes just talking to the people you love
A few stolen moments with special people in your life, like your child, pet or husband can boost your positivity and productivity. Instead of rushing through your morning chores, spend a few moments with your loved ones and see the difference it makes.

Meditate
Even 10 minutes of meditation a day can boost your immune system and energy levels. As women, we often complain of being tired. Regular meditation can beat fatigue.

As Marcus Aurelius, the great Roman emperor said, “When you rise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.” So, do not make your mornings a routine affair from now on.
